TREASURES IN HEAVEN

19"Don't store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal.
20Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves.

The one thing I can say about myself is I am faithful to the notion that it isn’t over until I win. I am tirelessly working with the clue, seek first the Kingdom; the prize for me is called having life more abundantly. The definition for abundant life is personal; however, the basic kingdom principle is: each of us creates the material world we experience from within our Imagination—…the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21).

Treasures in Heaven by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan is yet another clue to my treasure hunt. Beginning with Matthew 6:19-20 I am reminded to constantly strive to gather and store kingdom principles in heaven, my mind.

It is the nature of the mind to magnify and multiply whatever idea you have in your mind, about yourself, anyone, or anything; your mind then manifests that idea in your experience.

This principle particularly resonated with me. Of late, I have become more aware of what is going on in my mind. Now I catch myself mentally rehearsing fearful thoughts, the negative comments from others, or the let’s be realistic critiques others have offered to support why my ideas are “too aggressive,” and “too big, under the circumstances.”

What I find most alarming about these imagination-assassins is how frequently they seemingly appear from no where—their movements are stealth; one minute I’m creating or problem solving or reading and suddenly I awaken to find one of these assassins center stage in my Imagination. There is absolutely no question about why my material world is as it is. I remember the first time I read, 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…” That Scripture leaped off the page many years ago as Ramah but the understanding has finally come.

Bishop Jordan revealed what he believes our primary responsibility is while on earth: to be editors of our thoughts. I find the challenge is detecting my Old Belief System—that is really the headquarters for the Imagination-assassins. The Old Belief System operates below radar and is a well-armed enemy; however no weapon formed against me—even formed by me—can prosper against I AM now that I am awakened. As I become proficient at editing my thoughts, I am guaranteed to take control of my experiences, circumstances, and finances. This revelation has cancelled my question, “Why not me?”

I am becoming an active and alert sentinel at my gates—my eyes, ears, and mouth. It is a moment by moment vigil at this point—but again, I have come to the point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired—cancel, cancel. There are times when the exercises seem to get easier; either I hear an imagination-assassin rolling off my tongue or I catch one taking stage in my thought. My encouragement comes from knowing, until I go within to make the required adjustments, I continue to do without. In the words of Rev. Ike, my prayer to just enough is, “Hell no because I AM, that I AM and I now see the Kingdom.”

Thank you Master Prophet for methodically presenting these truths —…precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little… (Isaiah 28:10 KJV).

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Pay close attention to this. I will make you seem like God to Pharaoh. Your brother, Aaron, will be your prophet; he will speak for you.

The Master Prophet teaches in this incredible lesson that the very thing I need to do is pay close attention to what God wants me to know: God has made me a god so that I can declare His will and purpose to those around me.

I began my practice of declaring the will of God by warring with a prophetic Word I had received concerning a new car. I began by affirming, “I am that Mini Cooper, I am that.”

The Mini Cooper practice session taught me, Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding. Wisdom starts in the intellect and understanding brings the spiritual piece into operation and pulls the will and the purpose of God into your experience. Let me demonstrate my findings.

I went to the website, configured the Mini of my Imagination—black, no stripes, five speed, and sunroof—and saved the image to my desktop. The dealership is a quarter of a mile from my office; however, I did not go to the dealership.

Every time I saw a Mini drive by, I affirmed, “I am that Mini Cooper, I am that.” Shortly, it became an exciting game; I began sensing their presence—I would feel one, turn around, and there it would be. When I saw a red Mini I said, “I love myself as red.” When I saw a yellow Mini I said, “I love myself as yellow.” It got to the point I became openly excited every time I saw a Mini and I began drawing these cars into my experience; I literally began seeing eight or nine Mini Coopers a day—and they are not that many in most areas yet. However, I did not go to the dealership.

Just about everyone in my circle of influence knew of my fascination with this car, particularly my personal trainer, Brian—who respects, admires and is quite knowledgeable about performance and luxury automobiles. Each week he asked me had I been to the dealership to test drive a Mini. Each week I had an excuse why I had not. We continued talking about the car and checking them out on the Internet.

During this practice period, every morning while in my meditation, I asked God-in-me to give me a sign concerning when I should go to the dealership. I guess I expected a dew-dampened fleece of wool to appear on my floor—and at that I would have asked it to dry and re-wet itself a couple of times. Well, by this point, I was the piped piper of Mini Coopers and the dealership was still a quarter of a mile from me and still, no sign—I know this sounds ridiculous but I was really locked into that sign thing, “…don’t want to be outside the will of God.” “Hello…Spirit to Carolyn…you are God’s will and the Prophet has given you the correct season in which to walk.” I am proof of His Patience and Mercy toward us.

One afternoon, my phone rang; it was Brian, “Hey, I know we don’t have a training session until 5:30, but I’m in your area early and I was wondering if you wanted to go test drive a couple of Mini Coopers.” My Lord, is this the sign? Brian picked me up and we went to the dealership to test drive Mini Coopers. I drove the automatic; Brian drove the manual because even though I wanted the five-speed, I hadn’t driven one in many years. I put a deposit on the car of my Imagination that afternoon—the actual purchase process was a whole ‘nother talk-show. Suffice it to say I’m driving my Mini Cooper.

I thank God-in-me for making me "seem like" God to Pharaoh during that experience because the system tried to say that my deal was not going happen.

The good news is that no matter what it is you desire, it is already yours—the desire is your proof. You really do have to trick your intellect into running the race long enough to get the baton into the hand of your spirit. Once spirit gets it, the race is won. Your spirit will use any and every means necessary to get you wherever you need to be in order to get what you have manifested.

EXERCISE IN SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS

John 3:16 AMP
16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Only one thing is needful: For me to know who and what I am in God and who and what God is in me. Therefore, knowing who I am determines what I am supposed to do in EVERY situation. It will also afford my being able to manifest supernatural provision.

This is an uplifting thought however it begs the question, “How does one make that leap from human consciousness—God and man—to divine consciousness—God in man as man?”

However, after this teaching I realized I had two thieves in my temple--Unorganized and Undisciplined--masquerading as loyal and trusted employees. At various times, the two of them have worked as tellers in the Bank-of-My-Mind and as set designers in the Theater-of-My-Imagination, for as long as I can remember. And I have allowed them to entertain their friend, Far Country.

I caught Unorganized and Undisciplined engaged in a conversation with Far Country.

Far Country: “Did you hear that Word he got? That sure sounds like a lot of work to make all that happen!”
Unorganized: “You’re right about that. And, did you notice, it looks like God will only acknowledge somebody with money. Why doesn’t God give everybody the money if He loves people so much?”
Undisciplined: “Look at the others sitting there wishing they could give money like that; and they all they believe they are sowers too!”
Far Country:” All these people are missing their blessings just because they don’t have the money to give. That’s a shame.”
Undisciplined: “They’re not dumb; they have jobs so they have wisdom too? They’re just a little short of cash.”
Unorganized: “Why doesn’t God give them the seed to sow? It’s not like He’s not broke.”
Far Country: “Hey, let’s get out of here and get some food. Got any money?”
Unorganized: “I don’t know.”
Undisciplined: “I spent all I had on a pair of shoes I plan to wear next summer.”

What bothered me was at that moment I didn’t have a good answer to those questions because I was obviously missing that piece as well. However, I know whenever I think I have worked a principle and I have not gotten the expected result, I’ve missed the mark, not God.

2 Corinthians 9:10: AMP
10And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

Second Corinthians 9:10 is God upon which I can trust in, cling to, and rely on. So, what’s the action I have not taken in order to receive the seed to sow? The Spirit whispered in my ear, “Systems.” That word resonated in my spirit.

The Master Prophet explains in The Power of a System (August 1 2006) that in order for me to have a future, I must have a vision today. And for me to grow my vision I must create good systems (manual or automated) that are designed to solve problems for others—service [to others] is not an option it is a spiritual idea and necessity. My revelation is God gives seed to the sower through the sower’s vision, for the sower’s vision, and for the support of God’s Kingdom. Wow, this is a powerful idea that took a minute to resonate in my spirit then to penetrate my Mind.

It’s all about creating a vehicle through which the seed can be given—which will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing. I have to give people a reason to give me money (seed) good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.

The Master Prophet and Prophetess Jordan are the great examples before my eyes. They both have HUGE, God-given, service-oriented visions and they are creating the systems to support their visions. As they trust in, cling to, and rely on God to provide supernatural provision for their visions for God’s Kingdom, God liberally supplies the Master Prophet and Prophetess Jordan’s every need according to His riches in glory through those awakening to their Christ consciousness.

I am determined to move closer to Divine Consciousness in every thing I do throughout the day. Of course there are times when far countries whisper to me; however, my spirit is able to give me a quick Word and fears and doubts have to silence. If I can’t I do it for myself, I call a friend for encouragement.

I want to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to discover their visions, to war with their prophetic Words, and to create vehicles through which seed can come to support their visions, and those of Prophetess Jordan and the Master Prophet.

Thank you Master Prophet for continuing to open our minds and to feed our spirits.

THE THINKING MIND

Philippians 2:5-7 KJV
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

In my meditation on Sunday morning I asked the Father several questions. During the day’s lesson, The Thinking Mind, the Lord answered all of my questions through the mouth of the Master Prophet. The answers I received are:
1. I cannot correctly and meaningfully worship God, the Father, until I
love and cherish Him.
2. I will not manifest until I rest after creating in my Imagination.

THE Realization: “Jesus is fulfilled only when I come to the realization—I am not merely a human thinking about God. I am not one thinking about another, I AM God thinking.”

This revelation blew my mind w-i-d-e open and the change in my consciousness began.

This morning I sat quietly in the Presence of God, business as usual. I began to petition the Lord about what He wanted me to do this day; the revelation quietly surfaced--I am not one thinking about another, I AM God thinking. Suddenly, my supplication became an Invitation, “Let us make this day together. Let us make Carolyn’s day full of creativity—We Imagine website content development that speaks to our family. Let us make Carolyn’s testimony concerning her revelation from Your teaching from the mouth of Your beloved and faithful servant, E. Bernard Jordan, the Master Prophet. Let us make the money Carolyn requires to meet her financial obligations for this day. Now, let us rest.”

What a different meditation experience I had this morning and will continue to have every morning from this point forward.

I love the story the Master Prophet tells about his mentor, Rev. Ike. The Reverend overheard someone saying, “That Rev. Ike thinks he’s God.” To which the Reverend responded, “God thinks He’s me.”

I have been under the teaching of Bishop Jordan, the Master Prophet, since 1994. While living in New York and attending Zoë in person, I was a member of several auxiliary ministries including Pastoral Care, New Member Registration, and the Zoë Players (Drama Company). In 1997 I relocated to Boston, MA to accept a one-year assignment--that is still going strong--with Rev. Ike’s Ministries.

I have loved the Prophetic since the first time Bishop E. Bernard Jordan came to my local assembly to prophesy. Did not my heart burn as “Prophet Jordan” spoke the Words of Life into people’s lives? The Lord began speaking to me ever so quietly about the prophetic. However, the responsibility of touching lives so intimately seemed too great for me to do. So I sat in the crowd and marveled with the rest.

Then, one day at Zoë, a visiting prophet released my prophetic gift but neither he nor I released my fear and doubt. So, I continued to sit in the crowd and to marvel until Prophecology 2005 when I purposed in my heart to step into my purpose. In February 2006 I had the honor of becoming a member of the Prophetic Order of Mar Elijah; I esteem this service is an honor and a privilege; it is also a tremendous responsibility that I do not take lightly.

Before coming to Zoë, I likened my religious experience to the disciples on the road to Emmaus after the crucifixion of Christ: … their eyes were holden that they should not know him. I was earnestly searching for God. And as I groped around in the darkness of self-ignorance, Christ walked along the road with me, talked with me, and led me to Zoë to rest. And He and Bishop Jordan sat and ate meat with me; He and Bishop Jordan took bread, blessed it broke it and gave to me. And my eyes were opened and I knew Him. As Rev. Ike teaches us, the preaching of the Gospel must break bread; it must break open the Mystery of Christ.

Bishop Jordan has broken open the mystery of Christ in me, the hope of Glory. Bishop Jordan continues to break open the mystery of the principle, “I am Christ, the son of the living God” within me. The seal of my mind has been broken and my inner sight is being restored and sharpened by each teaching of Bishop Jordan, the Master Prophet.
